Congratulations To Austin & Taylor on Your Recent Engagement From Rip Van Winkle Gardens in Jefferson Island, LA

Austin & Taylor recently booked a walking tour at Rip Van Winkle Gardens on Jefferson Island, LA. As the time kicked off inside the Jefferson home, Taylor Meche had little idea that she would be waltzing around the grounds viewing the gardens. It was a great day after a light rain, and the blooming state of many flowers and exotic green views awaited after the house tour. Rip Van Winkle Gardens is known for many things and relaxing afternoons are just one of them.

Shortly after the house tour, the pair continued to walk around, first to the dove cages behind the home, then around two of the giant Oak trees on the island nearby.
Today was Taylor’s first walk on the grounds, making the entire stay even more interesting to be here in the middle of Summer.

There were lilies of many varieties in bloom. Cactus and so many exotic bamboo plants are a dream for the eyes, even if you do not enjoy flowers annually. For anyone who has enjoyed long walks in a place so rare as the garden area from Jefferson Island. You know the feeling of this place any season of the year. They pointed sideways as the pair started near the downhill gravel slope approaching the first patch of trees.

Taylor had no idea she was about to be videoed. Yes, two weeks prior, Austin chose the ‘perfect spot’ to ask Taylor to marry him. And in just three more minutes down this gravel hill under the perfect tree, he was ready to ask the question. ‘Will you marry me?’
